Anthony Pinder

Anthony Pinder

Anthony Pinder is a specialized Mechanical Engineering Tool and Die and Computer Numerically Controlled Machining, (CNC) Technician with over two decades of business and hands on, highly skilled trades experience.

Presently, Anthony is the Section Manager of the Engineered Materials Machining Section at B.C. Instruments Inc., in Schomberg, Ontario.

Anthony received his credentials at Sir Sanford Fleming College, the Centre for Integrated Manufacturing, and Port Hope Secondary School.

Anthony completed his General Machinist Apprenticeship at Ernst Leitz Optical Technologies (Leica Camera and Panavision Lens Manufacturers). As a highly regarded and valuable member of the company for a decade, he remained on staff when the company became Hughes Aircraft. Today the company executes its business under the banner of Raytheon ELCAN Optical Technologies.

Throughout his career, Anthony has held several other key positions in the industry including, Senior Mechanical Process Planner/CNC Programmer Ernst Leitz Optical Technologies, Midland, Ontario, Senior Programmer at Weber Tool & Mold in Midland, Ontario, and Manufacturing and Engineering Manager at B.C. Instruments Inc., in Schomberg, Ontario.

Anthony is well known for his proactive approach to business and specifically the manufacturing and machining industry. His endeavours to challenge and improve the status quo, embrace new technology, and his experience have placed Anthony in the forefront of the industry. His tendency to seek out and overcome obstacles has brought him continued success time and time again with business projects and ventures. Anthony’s consistent drive to improve the industry has earned him the respect and admiration of the industry, his customers and his colleagues.

Anthony was born in Sudbury, Ontario, spent his adolescent years in Port Hope, Ontario and now currently resides with his family in Barrie, Ontario.

Michael J. Docker

Michael J. Docker

Michael Docker is a professional Machinist with twenty years of skilled trades expertise and machining industry work experience.

Presently, Michael is the Project Manager of the Engineered Materials Machining Section at B.C. Instruments Inc., in Schomberg, Ontario.

Michael received his credentials at Sheridan College. He began his apprenticeship working as a General Machinist at Weiss Wooller in Mississauga, Ontario. Michael then went on to apprentice at Debore Machine and John Thurston Machine in Brampton, Ontario. He completed his General Machinist Apprenticeship at Cousin’s Machine in Georgetown, Ontario. Prior to coming on board at BCI, Mike held the position of Shop Foreman at Rapid Enterprises in Brampton, Ontario, and Tool Room Prototype Machinist at Raytheon ELCAN Optical Technologies.

By apprenticing at various well known established machine companies, Michael gained a broad understanding of the industry and was privileged to work with, for, and along side, many talented individuals and customers in the machining sector.

From prototyping and 3D modeling to computer numerically controlled (CNC) programming, Michael’s extensive work experience and reputation for mastering challenging applications and projects is second to none. He continuously goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of a job for the customer and company alike.

Michael was born in Toronto, Ontario, and now presently resides in Brampton, Ontario.
