Full Spectrum

Our full spectrum manufacturing support and services for engineered materials from fixed ceramics (alumina and zirconia oxides), glass, silicon nitrate, graphite and composite materials to precious stones, provide optimum benefit to our clients in the medical and space sciences and oil, gas and nuclear industries.

We will introduce you to new precision machining opportunities that can potentially overcome your manufacturing difficulties.

Heater

This developmental project consists of manufacturing a complex assembly heater out of various materials.

The primary component was manufactured from a fired billet of Alumina Oxide (Al2O3-96 percent). The other components were manufactured from Kovar, and Molybdenum with similar thermal expansion coefficients to Al2O3.

Using space age adhesives designed specifically to meet the assembly requirements the parts were bonded together.

In collaboration with one of our trusted associates the thick film heater was laid down and fired onto the ceramic Al2O3. The result, a heater that comes up to an operating temperature in 1/5 of the time as compared to the standard technology capability.

This project is a testament to EMMS’s resourcefulness and abilities.

As a result of the EMMS’s proactive approach to business
and its commitment to the advancement of the machining industry, with this new technology on hand, the EMMS is revamping the ceramics industry by the hour.

Collar

The EMMS is skilled at working with complicated jobs and prides itself on its high accuracy capabilities and short lead-time to market manufacturing abilities

A design that required a total of three components to be prototype-manufactured. The part design was made from a solid billet of A1203 - 96 percent, and was able to be delivered with a time to market of four weeks.
